8/28/2013-The Roswell Invaders recently won the Pecos League Championship and (Erik Lambe, Ryan Rogers and Vinny Mejia) got promoted to three different leagues higher level independent leagues that are in the race to win their respective titles:

• Erik Lambe who was Invaders #1 starter has signed with the Wichita Wingnuts who have best overall record in the American Association. The Wingnuts will host a playoff series next week.
• Ryan Rogers who was the Invaders top bullpen lefty joined the Quebec Capitales of the Can-Am League who are in first place and will likely host the New Jersey Jackels in the Can-Am Championship Series beginning on September 4th. Rogers has the best chance of the three to win a ring as Quebec has been a longtime powerhouse and brought home several Can-Am League Championships.
• Vinny Mejia was traded to the Lake Erie Crushers in the Frontier League who are in first place at 51-37 in the Eastern Division of the Frontier League. If the season were to end today they would host the Traverse City Beach Bums in the Frontier League Playoffs.
