6/12/2013-Anthony Smith of the Trinidad Triggers has been traded to the El Paso Diablos of the American Assocation. Smith was the ace of the Triggers Staff and was in his second season with the Triggers. Numerous teams showed interest in Smith as a reliever but his best option was to goto the American Association as a starter. Anthony will join the team in Laredo and start one of the games against the Laredo Lemurs.

In two years he started 17 games for the Triggers, he went 7-1 in 2012 and 4-1 in 2013 and was staff ace both seasons.
