4/14/2013-The Pecos League has agreed to a deal with Wells Fargo to be the official bank of the Pecos League. Wells Fargo has the most cities with a branch location in the league (Alamogordo, Roswell, Santa Fe, Raton and Las Vegas). Trinidad players will be able to access the Raton Branch and Taos players will be able to access the Santa Fe Branch. The Pecos League covers some very isolated areas and Wells Fargo is the only choice for the Northern Region of the League. Players, Umpires and Staff will also have option of being paid via direct deposit.

Wells Fargo will also be a team sponsor of the Las Vegas Train Robbers. Timing of payment is very important for players and with limited banking in some cities it is great to have Wells Fargo as a partner. Checks were always cut on time in 2011 and 2012 but getting to banks that honored the checks or charging players a fee to cash the checks were a problem. With Las Cruces no longer in the league the Pecos League lost Pioneer Bank which was bank from 2010-2012 for league and Vaqueros. Pioneer was a great partner and offered excellent service.
