Andy Wells signs with New York Mets

The New York Mets have signed Andy Wells to a minor league contract. Wells pitched in the Pecos League in 2011 with the Roswell Invaders on their championship team. See MLB Daily Dish. Wells becomes the 6th Pecos League player to sign an affiliated contract this off season.
