David Crawford named Pecos League Umpire Crew Chief.

David Crawford has been named the Umpire Crew Chief for the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs. David will be responsible for suspensions of players and managers as well as evaluations of umpires.
David works in the Santa Fe School System and is a current full time college umpire in the Divison II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with includes New Mexico Highlands in Las Vegas and Adams State in Alamosoa.
The Pecos League will continue to improve their umpiring process for 2013 and beyond.
David is another example of the Pecos League's efforts to hire locally in Santa Fe. He is the third person from Santa Fe this off season to receive a job within the league. These jobs in years past had been given to people outside of the region.
