12/21/2012-Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball Coaches Sign Pro Contracts with Pecos League.
The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League is proud to announce that former coaches Chris Ebright (Newark Pilots) and Matt Leahy (Adirondack Trail Blazers) have signed contracts with professional minor league teams in the Pecos League.

Ebright, who has signed to be the Manager of the Roswell Invaders, was Head Coach of the Newark Pilots the last two seasons. He led the Pilots to a PGCBL championship in 2011 and a playoff spot in 2012.

The Saginaw Valley State University alum currently coaches at Kentucky Wesleyan University. He has also coached at Central Methodist University and Erie Community College.

Leahy, who has signed to be the Manager of the Taos Blizzard, was a coach on the Adirondack Trail Blazers staff in 2012. He also has previous experience with the league's Utica Brewers. He led the Brewers to an ECBL title in 2009.

Currently an assistant coach at Utica College, his prior professional experience includes a season in the NY State Professional League and three seasons as the bullpen catcher for the Rochester Red Wings (the "AAA" affiliate of the Minnesota Twins), and one year with the Syracuse Chiefs (the"AAA" affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays).

The Perfect Game Baseball League is affiliated with Perfect Game USA, the largest independent scouting service in the country. Last year, more than 1,250 players had either worn the uniform of a PGCBL team or participated in a Perfect Game USA event.
