10/17/2012-Chris Ebright will manage the Roswell Invaders for the 2013 season.
The Roswell Invaders are pleased to announce Chris Ebright will be their field manager for the 2013 season. The Invaders have the all time highest winning percentage in the Pecos League. They won their Championship in 2011 and made the playoffs in 2012. Chris has operated as the head coach in two collegiate leagues over the past three seasons. He most recently led the Newark Pilots in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League in 2012. In 2011 the Pilots won the Championship with a 30-24 record. His Pilots finished with a 29th national collegiate league ranking by Baseball America. The league chose the head coach for the All-Star game. Ebright started with the Hornell Dodgers in the New York Collegiate League in 2009 and 2010. He compiled a two-year 53-37 record where they won the 2009 Western Division Championship. The Dodgers were ranked in the Top 20 for three weeks during the season. He was runner-up for Coach of the Year in 2009 and named All-Star coach in 2010. His coaching career started in 2007 as an assistant with Medicine Hat Mavericks in the Western Major League in Alberta, Canada. As a collegiate player, Ebright played catcher at Saginaw Valley State University. His senior season in 2002, he batted .263 in starting 28 of 38 games played.
