10/16/2012-Roswell Invaders have finalized a deal with the city of Roswell to keep the Invaders in Roswell at Joe Bauman Park permanently. For the last three years fans and supporters have attempted to move the Invaders out of Joe Bauman Park and into New Mexico Military Academy. The Invaders were close to moving to NMMI for the 2013 season but after research NMMI requested that the Invaders participate in fund raising for the installation of field turf.
The Invaders requested a reduction in their lease at Joe Bauman Park which was five times higher than any other lease in the Pecos League. The City has agreed to work with the Invaders as long as the number of dates are reduced. The Invaders will reduce the number of dates they use the facility.
  • With the Current Schedule the Invaders will have 35 home games and be in the Southern Division with Las Cruces, Alamogordo and Alpine.
  • In 2011 they played 53 games in Joe Bauman Stadium and with Spring Training and practices were there almost 65 dates.
  • In 2012 they played 38 games in Joe Bauman Stadium.
  • The Invaders will move Spring Training to Alamogordo and not report to Roswell until their first home game. They will begin the regular season in Alpine.


The number one request from the fans, city and follows alike is the Lime Green.

The Invaders will bring back their Lime Green Jerseys and Lime Green Pants that they wore in 2011 and for the first half of 2012. For the first time in 2013 the Invaders will wear Lime Green Hats as their primary hats. The Invaders also have a new bat sponsor that will provide the Invaders will two tone Lime Green Bats.

The Invaders with have a much improved staff and game day operations for 2013. Their staff will be named on November 15, 2012.
