9/7/2012-The Pecos League has been flooded with applications for managers.
Chris Schmidt, Justin Lowery, Ryan Stevens, Chris Paterson and Bill Moore are coming back for 2013 season. The league has the other three positions filled once teams are finalized. We would like to have teams, schedules and managers in place on or before November 15. "We are looking to hire better managers, better umpires, sign better players and have a better league for 2013." says Pecos League commisioner Andrew Dunn. "It all starts with the field managers, at this level they have so much power. We are really glad to have those five guys back with us. I also believe the three new guys will be great. They will quickly learn altitude baseball. Hopefully we finalize the league schedule soon."
