8/13/2012-Pupfish fans have more to be excited about. In addition to their new logo and new uniforms they are getting a new coach. Justin Lowery is named head coach of the White Sands Pupfish for the 2013 season. Justin is from Newnan,Georgia and was the assistant coach for the White Sands Pupfish in their 2011 season. In 2012 Justin was the inaugural manager for the first half of the year for the Trinidad Triggers. He guided his team the second best record in the league and assembled a top notch club. The Triggers would up making the playoffs. Justin is very popular in Alamogordo and will be a good fit to build a team that fans can get excited about. He will be hosting tryout camps in Atlanta, Florida and Phoenix. He will also be coaching in the Pecos Spring League in Houston. JD Droddy will not join Justin in his hometown of Alamogordo, he will stay with the Trinidad Triggers. "Justin learned alot in 2012 and will be a perfect match for Alamogordo and the Pupfish for 2013. Expect the Pupfish to have an immediate turnaround." says Andrew Dunn of the Pecos League. Spring Training starts May 2013 in Alamogordo. The Pupfish open the 2013 season in Las Cruces.
