7/26/2016-The Pecos League Playoff Picture is almost set. Five of the six positions are set with Topeka and Salina going down to the wire for the last spot.

Northern Division
  • 1. Garden City Wind are the top seed and will have a first round bye. The Wind will host the Northern Division Finals beginning on August 3 against the winner of Trinidad and (Salina/Topeka)
  • 2. Trinidad Triggers are the 2nd seed and will host Topeka or Salina in the first round in Trinidad beginning Friday Night. Unless a tiebreaker is required. The Triggers have made the playoffs five years in a row but have never won a playoff series.
  • 3. Topeka Train Robbers will be the 3rd seed if Salina loses either of its last two games. If Salina wins both of its last two games in Santa Fe then their will be a one game playoff in Trinidad between Topeka and Salina for the 3rd seed.
Round 1 Friday Night 7/29/2016 Topeka/Salina at Trinidad Best of 3 (winner at Garden City) Southern Division
  • 1. Tucson Saguaros are the leagues top seed and have clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs. With a win in their last two games they will set the all time league wins record.
  • 2. Roswell Invaders are set in the number two position and will host Roswell for the 6th consecutive year in the Pecos League Playoffs. The winner of this series has won the Pecos League Championship 4 of 5 years.
  • 3. Alpine Cowboys have won the 3rd seed and will goto Roswell on Friday Night for game 1.
