The Tucson Saguaros make the most of 3 hits in 5-2 victory over the White Sands Pupfish

The Tucson Saguaros (6-0) and the White Sands Pupfish (2-4) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Tucson Saguaros that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-2 win at Griggs Park.

Steven Borkowskis eight strikeouts helped the Tucson Saguaros to the victory. Borkowski allowed one earned run, five hits and four walks over six innings.

Dubal Daez reached base three times in the game for the White Sands Pupfish. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Nick Bozeman ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out nine, and allowed four runs.
