1/13/2016-The Topeka Train Robbers will begin the 2016 season with two preseason games with the Joplin Blasters in Joplin, Missouri. The Blasters are in the Southern Division of the American Association. The Train Robbers will play May 13th at 7PM CST and May 14th at 10AM CST. Both games are at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin.

The Blasters open their regular season at home against the Winnipeg Goldeyes on May 19th. The Train Robbers open their regular season at home against the Roswell Invaders on May 20th
