Pecos League moves to Tucson Arizona for 2016

Tucson, AZ –The Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs is proud to announce its newest team in Tucson, Arizona. The team will be named the Tucson Saguaros. The team will begin play at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium next year. The teams colors will be Black, Vegas Gold and Kelly Green.The Teams website can be viewed at http://www.SaguarosBaseball.com The Tucson Saguaros will play in the Southern Division in the 2016 season with the Las Cruces Vaqueros, White Sands Pupfish, Roswell Invaders, Alpine Cowboys and Santa Fe Fuego. Tucson will host Spring Training for both the Las Cruces Vaqueros and the Tucson Saguaros before the two teams play the first series in Tucson. Pecos League Commissioner and Owner Andrew Dunn "We are excited to play the 2016 season in Tucson, I believe it will fit perfectly with the other nine cities in the league. The people in Tucson have been extremely welcoming and Kino will continue our mission to upgrade facilities in our league." I am glad to see Tucson get a professional team again." The Tucson Saguaros will finalize their coaching staff soon. The Saguaros will also be hiring game day staff and sales staff. The Pecos League is an independent professional baseball league which operates in cities in desert mountain regions throughout New Mexico, Kansas, Arizona, West Texas and Southern Colorado. Pecos Teams play in cities that do not have Major or Minor League Baseball teams and is not affiliated with either.
