Dave Keine wins Clovis Logo Design Contest

Dave Keine has signed to be a pitcher for the Las Cruces Vaqueros for the 2011 season. He entered a logo in the Clovis Pioneers Logo design contest because he is also an artist. His logo was the selected as one of the four finalists and was the winning logo as selected by fans. Clovis Pioneers fan Eric Smith said "It was the best logo by far, it had the pioneer man, and the CP interlocked logo will go perfect." Clovis will wear black hats with interlocked CP in white/purple/orange. White Jerseys and Orange Jerseys as their alternate. "We need to be different everything in Clovis is purple, we need purple in the uniforms but another color gives the Pioneers their own identity." The Clovis Wildcats are purple and white and Bell Park is completely decked out in Purple.. The Clemson combo of purple and orange will look good for the first year Pioneers
