A walk-off single from Brian Milliman brought home the winning run for the Alpine Cowboys (28-12) in a 7-6 victory over the Douglas Diablos in 12 innings at Kokernot Field on Friday.

Tyler Heck had a hot bat for the Alpine Cowboys. Heck went 4-7 and scored one run. He singled in the fifth, seventh, and twelfth innings.

Andrew Shoemaker recorded his second win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. Shoemaker struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.

Jacob Phillips (0-2) took the loss for the Douglas Diablos (17-20). He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
