Johnson helps the Roswell Invaders down the Douglas Diablos 7-4


Jordan Johnson collected three hits, helping the Roswell Invaders (23-12) to a 7-4 victory over the Douglas Diablos (15-19) on Tuesday at Joe Bauman Park.

He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Josh Mooneys 12 strikeouts were enough to push the Roswell Invaders past the Douglas Diablos. Mooney allowed three earned runs on five hits and one walk over nine innings.

Jean Batista was hot from the plate for the Douglas Diablos. Batista went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning.

Ebert Rosario ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.
