6/15/2014-Sam Montgomery of the Roswell Invaders has been promoted to the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League. Sam was the Pecos League's leading hitter and everyday shortstop for the Roswell Invaders. The Washington Coaching Staff lead by Bart Zeller had been following Sam's numbers in the Pecos League and will welcome him to the team on their road trip in Lake Erie on Tuesday.

Montgomery will be projected to play second base for a Joliet Team that is currently at 12-15 in the Western Division of the Frontier League.
