The Alpine Cowboys (14-5) and the Douglas Diablos (6-7) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Alpine Cowboys that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-3 win at Kokernot Field.

Matt Henrickson was hot from the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. Henrickson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Corben Green put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Douglas Diablos. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and fifth innings.

John Cruse recorded his third win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed two runs over six innings. Cruse struck out three, walked two and gave up nine hits.

Ocallahan (0-1) took the loss for the Douglas Diablos. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
