7/30/2011-The Alpine Cowboys are hot, they have won 8 in a row including sweeping Carlbad and White Sands. The Cowboys are now the 4th team in the playoff race and if the season ended today they would be in the playoffs. The Cowboys head into two critical series at Las Cruces (4), and host Ruidoso (4). This will determine the fate of the Cowboys who have been the 5th seed for much of the season.
