Triggers Roll Past Pupfish 15-6

July 2 2018 The Trinidad Triggers defeated the White Sands Pupfish 15-6 after totaling 17 hits. Trinidad built a 3-0 lead through three innings, then broke the game open with five runs in the fourth and added four in the sixth and three in the seventh. White Sands scored five times in the second and once in the third but was held scoreless over the final four innings.

Kenneth Fudge powered the Triggers with four hits, including a home run and two doubles, while driving in 10 runs and scoring three times. Matt Eureste added three hits and scored three runs, and Danny Molinari collected three hits with two RBI. Joba Ferrell and Abel Arocho each added two hits while Nick Stoll and Arocho drove in one run apiece.

Matt Stuart earned the win for Trinidad after allowing 10 hits and six runs over six innings. He struck out two and walked none, with only two of his runs charged as earned. Kane Klais worked a scoreless seventh inning. Darrell Render Jr. took the loss for White Sands after giving up 11 hits and nine runs over five innings while walking six and striking out one; Timothy Carter allowed six runs in two innings.
