5/11/2011-The Las Cruces defeated the White Sands Pupfish 10-9 in 10 innings in a back and forth game at Apodoca Park. The Pupfish fought hard but fell short in extra innings. Raphael Anzola was the winning pitcher for the Vaqueros pitching the 10th inning. Herbert Lada lead the way for the Vaqueros with 3 runs and 3 stolen bases. The Pupfish played a tough game lead by Steve "Caveman" Lemmon The Caveman threw 7 innings with 10 strikeouts. Box Score Here
