Dublin Leprechauns Defeat Monterey Amberjacks 11-6

July 15 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Monterey Amberjacks 11-6 after scoring in six consecutive innings from the second through the sixth and adding two more runs in the eighth. Dublin finished with 12 hits while Monterey collected nine, and both teams committed two errors.

Abraham De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI for Dublin. Dylan Leek also had three hits and scored four runs, while Sam Ott went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and four RBI. DJ Aceron Jr. added three RBI, and Damone Hale contributed two hits and one RBI. Monterey’s Matt Faulcon hit a home run and drove in two runs, while Luis Medina and Oswaldo Caldera each had two-hit games.

Gordon Wend earned the win for Dublin after allowing five hits and three runs, two earned, in 6.2 innings. He walked one and struck out 10. Marika Lyszczyk allowed four hits and three runs over the final 2.1 innings. Jonathan Mendoza took the loss for Monterey after surrendering seven hits and six earned runs in four innings.
