San Rafael Pacifics Pull Away From Lancaster Sound Breakers 10-5

July 4 2023 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Lancaster Sound Breakers 10-5 at Albert Park. San Rafael collected 10 hits and took control with three runs in the second inning, three in the third, two in the fourth and two in the fifth. Lancaster finished with eight hits and scored twice in the second, once in the fourth and twice in the ninth.

Grant Victor led San Rafael with three hits, including a double and a home run, and drove in three runs. Tyler Georgeson also homered and finished with three RBI, while Kyle Guerra added three hits and two RBI. Blake Diggle contributed a hit and an RBI, and Nick Smith scored twice.

Jacob Jablonski paced Lancaster with two hits, a home run and an RBI. Cal Bocchino scored twice and drove in one run, while Andrew Castano had two RBI. Lancaster also stole seven bases as a team, including two by Kyle Jenkins and three by Bocchino.

Nathan Lu earned the win after allowing three runs on three hits in seven innings, with three strikeouts and seven walks. Kyle Guerra and Dan Crossan each worked one inning in relief. AJ Chacon took the loss for Lancaster after pitching eight innings and allowing 10 runs on 10 hits with nine earned runs, five walks and eight strikeouts.
